Recycle your egg cartons and craft a beautiful tree out of them.
When you make this tree with your children, don’t forget to stop admiring your handy work for a brief moment to point out the symmetry and count how the egg carton branches increase as you go down the tree. They may guess that each branch increases by two cups at each level!
Cut up your egg cartons so you have a row of 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1 cups.

Paint them green, or gold, or even pink if that is the color of the moment in your household.

Decorate your tree with stickers, or glitter, or photos, or as we have done – little bits of screwed up tin foil and a star made out of rolled tinfoil strips.

Glue your egg carton branches onto some backing paper to create your tree.
