Spiral Paper Mobile

Twirly whirly and super easy to make!

It is school holiday world at our house at the moment. So I need paper crafts for my children that I can quickly start up to distract from any budding argument! Fortunately most of the days have been filled with happy imaginary play – well not so happy if you are one of the many dragons or monsters that my children are slaying in their games:-).

spiral_mobile-treeThis craft is so easy to do, and nil set up time assuming you already have lots of decorated paper underfoot as we always do! So if you have had lots of fun decorating paper (like shaving foam marbling) but then do not know what to do with it, then this is for you.

Cut some roughly circle shapes out of the paper and then cut a spiral into the circle – as in the picture below.  Stick or tie one end onto something up high – like some sticks or coat hanger for inside or a handy dandy tree branch like we have done.

Then lie back and admire your fabulous decoration and dream of fairies, fire trucks or frogs.
